Wet blasting is rapidly becoming the initial choice for applications requiring the highest quality of surface finish, especially suitable for refurbishing motorcycle and auto parts (valves, cylinders, wheels). The aquablaster gently and effectively removes rust, imperfections while maintain the original substrate precision and uniformty.
Due to the flushing action of the water. it causes no media impregnation and creates cleaner surfaces.
Delivers gentle but effective force for surface removal, suitable for delicate art crafts, or precise tools.
The water acts as a lubricant minimizing wear on the internal components of the blast cabinet also extending the life of the blast media
The water/media slurry is contained within the wet blasting cabinet sump
Delivery of the slurry to the manual blast nozzle is via a well-sealed pump and associated hoses located inside the wet blasting machine.
Compressed air is added at the blast nozzle to accelerate the slurry and create the cleaning effect.
After contact with the component, the slurry then drains back into the sump for media recycling.
A water re-circulating system can be optionally configured thus broken down media and other contaminants will be fed via an overflow to a sedimentation filter located at the rear of the wet blasting machine.
