KF-7070W Small Wet Blast Cabinet
Wet blasting cabines use a well-sealed slurry pump agitating media and water into a slurry mixture. The pump delivers the mixture to the blast nozzle and compressed air is introduced at the blast nozzle to accelerate the slurry and provide the cleaning effect.
Wet blasting has a variety of advantages over dry blasting:
1. The first and most is dust free. The introduction of water eliminates the dust that leaves a clean working chamber and increase the visibility.
2. With water's washing it creates a cleaner surface without abrasive impregnation to workparts.
3. Eliminate the surface removal of delicate, sensitive work parts, maintain a more precise shape.
4. Lubricating effect reduces the wear and damage to the components of blasting machine and minimize the maintenance.
5. Any ultra-fine abrasive can be used while dry blaster can not achieve, such as light glass beads and silicon carbide grit.
