As we know, the so-called wet blasting equipment uses slurry (abrasive and water mixture) as the finishing media, which is evenly stirred by the slurry pump. Compressed air acts as the acceleration power to feed the slurry to the spray gun and blast out to the object surface through the nozzle for the intended processing purpose.
Currently in practice, we happen to the following question from many customer: The surface of the work-piece has a large amount of grease adhering to it. Can it be poured with hot water and detergent to clean the grease on the surface of the work-piece?
The answer is yes. The maximum temperature that our wet sandblasting machine withstands is 60 degrees of water. Water in 60 degrees plus detergent, is completely able to clean the grease on the surface of the work-piece.Then select the appropriate abrasive with water slurry to get desired effect.
